Mac and Cheese

 


Ingredients

Serves 4

500g macaroni
2C milk
50g butter
2C cheese (I used colby)
5C water
3T flour
1t crushed garlic
1t mustard powder
1t onion powder (mine is in rock form....🫤)

Optional
breadcrumbs
italian herbs

Instructions

Melt butter over medium heat then add flour and mix till you get goop

Add milk and stir until the goop is dissolved

Add water, pasta, garlic, onion and mustard powder then stir

Bring to a simmer and let simmer until pasta is fully cooked

Once pasta is fully cooked remove from heat and stir in cheese

Keep stirring off heat until the pasta sauce thickens up

Optional

Add breadcrumbs and a little more cheese to the top and place in oven on grill 150C till the top had browned a little

Place bowl on a plate (the bowl will be very hot)

Sprinkles some italian herbs on top
