Pork and Cabbage Dumplings

Ingredients

Serves 2

Dumplings

200g pork mince
2C very finely chopped cabbage
Handful of chopped spring onions
1t crushed ginger
1.5T soy sauce
Pinch of chinese five spices
Pinch of salt
24pk dumpling wrappers (You can make your own, I just suck at it)

Udon noodle stir fry side

1pk udon noodles
1 carrot (I peeled it but you can cut it anyway)
1T soy sauce
1T brown sugar
1t garlic

Instructions

To make dumpling filling, mix everything in a bowl

Make sure your wrappers are defrosted in the fridge before hand

Add 1t of filling to the middle of the wrapper then lightly wet the rim with some water

Fold the dumping and pinch it closed and make sure its sealed (do some folds if ya feeling fancy!)

Make all the dumplings all at once or else the wrappers will dry out

Heat a pan on medium heat with a small amount of oil and add your dumplings

Add enough water to cover the dumplings 1/3 of the way

Cover and wait till most of the water is evaporated

Turn the dumplings over once they are brown on one side

Once they are brown on both sides, they are ready to serve with some soy sauce

Noodle stir fry

Chuck everything in a pan on medium heat will a little oil and mix around

Cook until the udon noodles have separated and the carrot is soft
