Pork Spaghetti and Meatballs


 

Ingredients

Serves 2

Meatballs
250g pork mince
1/2 onion finely chopped (as fine as you can)
1 egg
4-5T breadcrumbs
1/2t crushed garlic
1t oregano
1/2t cumin
S&P

Sauce
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 onion finely diced
1t oregano
1t crushed garlic
1/2t sugar
75g cream cheese

Serve over spaghetti

Instructions

Mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs and form into balls (add more bread crumbs if necessary)

On medium-high heat, cook the meatballs in a pan with a little oil, then set aside

For the sauce add onion, garlic, sugar and oregano into a pan on medium heat for 2-3 minutes (you can use the same pan you cooked the meatballs in)

Add in the canned tomatoes and bring to a simmer

Then stir in your cream cheese until it is completely incorporated into the sauce

If the sauce is too thick, add the pasta water from the spaghetti a tablespoon at a time till you get you desired consistency.

Serve over spaghetti with a little cheese on top
